In addition to strengthening TPS’ position on the English market, Metano has a production of liner bags used in connection with IBC containers. The bags are produced in Hexham close to Newcastle. Thus, TPS will now be able to offer their customers their own high-quality bags.

“With Metano on board, TPS will significantly strengthen its position in the English market – but most importantly we will acquire new skills and business areas that we can offer TPS’ existing customers”, says Thorleif Blok, Chairman and largest shareholder of TPS.

The acquisition of Metano is in line with TPS’s strategy of being the leading supplier of logistics solutions based on IBC containers. Following Kirk Kapital’s acquisition in 2018, the company has continued its impressive growth with double-digit growth rates. Kirk Kapital feels optimistic about the future.

Following the transaction, TPS will have about 70 employees, a fleet of more than 80,000 containers and a total turnover of DKK 170 million in 2019
