Former fund director and investment responsible at ATP, Bjarne Graven Larsen, has been elected as new Chairman of the Board of Directors.

At the same time, Oscar Mosgaard, one of Denmark’s leading experts in business transactions, joins the Board of Directors.

The reshuffle means that the former chairman Casper Kirk Johansen will be the new vice chairman, and Jens Jørgen Madsen and Leif Hasager step down from Kirk Kapital’s board, while Birgitte Nielsen remains on the board.

Casper Kirk Johansen, who represents Kirk Kapital’s owner family on the Board of Directors, welcomes the election of Bjarne Graven Larsen as new Chairman of the Board, and he also welcomes Oscar Mosgaard to the Board of Directors.

“Bjarne Graven Larsen joined the Board in 2018. He is a great asset and I am incredibly pleased that he has accepted the chairmanship. At the same time, with Oscar Mosgaard on the Board of Directors, we have gained one of Denmark’s very large capacities in the field of business transactions on board. Of course, I am very pleased with that. Finally, I would like to thank Jens Jørgen Madsen and Leif Hasager for their great efforts on the board for many years”, says Casper Kirk Johansen, Vice-Chairman of Kirk Kapital.

Bjarne Graven Larsen has about 15 years of combined experience as an investment director in market leading pension funds. From 2016 to 2018 in Canadian Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan and from 1999 to 2010 in ATP.

Oscar Mosgaard has more than 17 years of experience with business transactions in several parts of the world. He co-founded the corporate finance section of the commercial bank FIH, where he was a leading partner from 2006 to 2014.
